Real Wedding: Patricia & Macneil’s Peach & Grey Wedding Makeup By Melanie Rawat of Blush Studio

By  |

Peach and grey is a breezy colour combination and if you are planning a Christian wedding, this sweet palette is worth considering. Today’s real wedding is fresh and modern and the bride’s photo ready-look was planned and executed flawlessly by our very own Melanie Rawat of Blush Studio. (We had recently interviewed this gorgeous lady and you can read all about it here). In the mean time, we really wish we had attended this beautiful ceremony which had tons of special touches. Read the details from our bride Patricia:

Bride: Patricia Dsouza

Groom: Macneil Dsilva

We met:

We used to go to the same church and became friends; we dated for nearly 7 years before tying the knot!

Our wedding theme/colours:

We zeroed in on peach and gold combination with shades of grey.

 My dress:

My gown was designed by Noreen Coelho of Noreen’s Bridals.

My hair and make up:

My hair and makeup was done by Melanie Rawat of Blush Salon. A friend recommended her. I would strongly recommend her to other brides because of her excellent service, high level of professionalism and friendly nature. She knew exactly what I wanted and delivered it.

What our bridal party wore.

My bridesmaids wore peach dresses with golden sashes. Groomsmen were dapper in light grey suits and peach ties. The flower girls and ring bearers also wore peach and grey respectively.

Our ceremony:

It was a typical Christian ceremony held on 29 November.

We chose our photographer because

Studio Grey specialize in Christian weddings and also because we liked their previous work.

We chose our venue because

We had our Reception at Green Village Resort at Malad, Mumbai because it is very spacious and we also liked their catering.

Our menu:

Veg and Non-veg dishes (starters and main course), dessert and drinks.

Our honeymoon:

We chose Mauritius and stayed at Intercontinental. As far as food goes, we mostly ate all our meals at the hotel and had everything booked through SOTC.

My favourite part of the wedding day:

Our first dance…

My piece of advice for other brides

Enjoy to the fullest as it’s your day!
