Kuala Lumpur

To begin with you will land at Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, which perhaps deserves a day or two where you can relax in any of the delightful hotels. We recommend a visit to the magnanimous Batu caves, just 13 km north of the capital. A huge limestone outcrop is home to the impressive Batu caves. It’s a Hindu shrine around which you will find many eateries offering south Indian food. You might also like the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park which is an enormous canopy, home to around 200 species of birds. The variety of birds flying beneath this huge canopy will leave you mesmerised. For a historical soiree a must see spot is the Merdeka Square. It is huge open square which is compounded by heritage buildings and a flagpole with the fluttering Malaysian flag. Visit to Kuala Lumpur will be incomplete without seeing the PETRONAS Twin Towers. An architectural milestone, these shimmering stainless steel-clad towers make you wonder for a moment about man’s progress. We recommend a visit in the evening to look at well lit imposing structure. You may take the hop on hop off Kuala Lumpur city tour to explore the city or hire a cab if you are looking for some privacy.
