Recently, the two lovebirds tied the knot at a lavishly decorated posh farmhouse of southern Delhi. The family and friends from the industry gathered to shower the couple with love and wishes.
In a traditional beige and green Ritu Kumar sharara, this beautiful actress of Bollywood looked her gorgeous best while the handsome bridegroom Sahil Sangha looked as charming as ever in his cream silk linen brocade achkan done by Raghavendra Rathore teamed up with an offwhite safa. Bollywood celebrities including Sushmita Sen, Lara Dutta, Mahesh Bhupati, Cyrus Sahukar, Rajkumar Hirani, Sophie Choudry, Neha Dhupia, Zayed Khan and Boman Irani graced this beautiful fairytale wedding Bollywood has been waiting since this April when Dia Mirza announced her engagement to her longtime beau.
The wedding ceremony performed following the Arya Samaj rituals took place in a Ghitorni farmhouse which was exquisitely decked up with orchids and lilies. The guests had a great feast on the wedding day as the Hyderabadi platter was a complete treat for the taste buds while the typical Bengali sweets in dessert was the perfect cherry on the cake.
Dia Mirza, the former Miss Asia Pacific is already loved by all for her charming beauty and flawless skin. So when this beautiful heroine appeared in her bridal finery, she left everybody present at the venue speechless with her breathtaking beauty. The Ritu Kumar ensemble inspired by the traditional Mughal zardosi craftsmanship shows impeccable embroidery and zardozi work on it. The complete outfit is actually a three-piece attire that includes a kurta, a farshi style payjama and a dupatta. Gold net and tanchoi silk brocade have been used to design the upper half of the trouser or payjama while the lower half has been adorned with diagnally sewn patched silk stripes. Amazing florarl designs all over the dress along with the elaborately designed borders gave the outfit a complete Hyderabadi finish. The joda has been contemporarized to give the pretty bride a modern yet traditional look. No wonder, it made Dia Mirza looking like a fairytale princess.
The couple, who have been running a production house jointly since a few years, will soon get back to their work, said sources. Their Born Free Entertainment already has two films made under its banner – Love Breakups Zindagi and Bobby Jasoos.
