Besides reminding an onlooker of calm blue tropical waters, this spring hue brings to the mind words like ‘calm’ and ‘confidence’. Toasted Almond: For brides and grooms who aren’t big fans of bright colours, Toasted Almond is a shade that is both warm and neutral making it a natural choice for ceremonies held in the morning or in the afternoon. This spring shade would look fabulous when paired with darker and richer hues like coffee brown, black, maroon or even navy blue. In fact, Toasted Almond would look great when used as a part of the wedding decor and even in accessories like your wedding shoes.

Strawberry Ice: Doesn’t the very name of this Pantone Spring shade sound absolutely delicious? It brings to mind a light refreshing drink and that is exactly how this shade looks like too. Think of it as a girl- meets -lady shade of pink which will look great on both fair and wheatish complexions. The colour combinations that will look great with this shade are endless. If you’d prefer a delicate look, pair this with white, cream or silver. On the other hand for an eye-catching contrast, pairing this shade with Classic Blue, black and even Leaf Green will make you look striking.

Tangerine: If the last year belonged to a gorgeous shade called Celosia Orange, this year it’s about the humble Tangerine. Brides who are up for a dash of colour in their wardrobe and who like unusual shades should go with this Spring favourite by all means. In fact, skip going with a plain flowing pattern for a printed design that will look great as a choli or dupatta. We think that nobody can help but smile at the kind of vitality and verve that this shade radiates. A wedding is after all a happy occasion and Tangerine can add a spark anytime of the day or night, even when worn as an accessory.
