Kash and Shiva of Ifpixelscouldtalk Photography were approached by this couple for a post-wedding shoot, mainly since they wished go back in time and ‘recreate the magic of their D-day’. The result was this imaginative photoshoot in Kerala….

Their Story: Rohit and Chethana got married in February 2013. Like so many other couples in Indian metros, they too were not fully aware of how far candid wedding photography had evolved. Their families had hired a local photographer for typical wedding photography –who, trying to keep pace with the evolving styles and demands, had included a package of couple shoot with the general wedding photography and videography. After the wedding, Rohit and Chethana had a marriage reception lined up in Alleppey, Kerala about two weeks later. During these two weeks, Rohit happened to come across the couple shoot of his friend Varun that was done by IfPixelsCouldTalk. He was amazed to see the love and chemistry between his friends showcased so beautifully in those pictures. His friends looked like stars of their own ‘Bollywood love stories’.
When Rohit showed these pictures to Chethana, they both wanted to go back in time and get another shoot done . They approached Ifpixekscouldtalk who recommended a post wedding shoot for them in Kerala backwaters, enveloping the essence of the place.
Chethana had this to say about her pictures:
“A couple shoot was one thing I always wanted to do as a part of my wedding. We approached IfPixelsCouldTalk after seeing some really amazing pictures of our friends shot by them. However, the challenge in our case was the lack of time and an extremely camera shy husband .We shot for around half a day in the humid summer heat of Kerala. The photographers were an extremely cheerful team, great at making us laugh or diverting our minds off the lens by saying the most random things and before you realize, we had a great shot! They also did an excellent job at adding the special effects to the pics and we ended up with the most artfully done pictures of the two of us. I’ve had friends telling me that they had their breath completely taken away after viewing our pictures!!”
