Before we dive headlong into this gorgeous and breathtaking Mumbai wedding, let us talk about the photographer behind the scenes. Andrew Adams is a photojournalist specializing in Indian Destination weddings. It had always been Andrew’s dream to travel the world and he thanks his good fortune for having had several opportunities to do so. Today, Andrew has covered numerous weddings, big and small, all across the world including those in Thailand, India, and North America.
Andrew calls India his second home; he has covered numerous weddings here including ones in Delhi, Mumbai, Rajasthan and Kerala. Here is a bit more about Andrew and Katha Images in his own words:
” I have always had a fascination for South Asian Culture since an early age and love Indian weddings as they are so big on colours, emotions and culture. That is how Katha Images was born. I truly feel honoured when couples hire me to shoot this important occasion in their lives. My style of photography is unobtrusive and candid. I wish to observe and record the feelings and emotions of the events in a true documentary style.
Parvati and Shamsu’s wedding was a three day grand celebration. The first evening was a black tie gala event at the chic Aer Bar on the roof top of The Four Seasons Hotel.
For the main ceremony the couple went completely traditional..
Parvati looked gorgeous in a breathtaking orange lehenga with sequins and matching choker necklace on the third and final evening after the ceremony.

One of the events included a fun Mehendi session held at Shamsu’s trendy Mumbai flat in Bandra west. Marry Me Weddings did a great job conceptualizing and creating the Candy bar and decor taking into account the couple’s choice.
