Wedding is a special day for most to-be brides, and some even plan it months (or years) in advance. It is certainly a roller coaster of emotions for everybody involved – but the one person who just cannot stop thinking for a nano second is- the bride. Yes, a bride’s mind works at a super sonic speed when it comes to thoughts and weird imaginations. So here we enlist a few of the many things that a bride typically thinks on her wedding day.
Is he the right one?
Well, if you opted for an arranged marriage, then you must have had plenty of opportunities to decide this part; if you have a love marriage, then you might be completely sure. Either ways, isn’t it a bit too late to think this now? You are marrying this guy and there is absolutely no doubt that he is perfect for you- that’s the reason you agreed to marry him in the first place. But then, as we mentioned a bride’s thinking process on the D-day tends to go in the supersonic mode. So do not be surprised if you too find yourself having such thoughts. Our advice:. Relax! This is normal. Just remember that you love him and he loves you and nobody is perfect- not even you and you are going to make it work.
Am I looking fat?
You have spent big bucks on getting that perfect lehenga or jewellery for your wedding day- no doubt you tried it on a million times but still this thought is sure to cross your mind. No worries, if you are a curvaceous bride and wish to flaunt a slimmer silhouette then here’s a trick- just hold your shoulders back and push your chin forward. Don’t look straight into the camera, instead tilt your shoulders in the direction of the photographer. This way you will end up looking slimmer in your wedding photos.
Will everything go according to the plan?
We mentioned in the beginning of the article, a bride spends months and even years to plan her wedding; but she just cannot help thinking that something might go wrong. To avoid this situation it is best to plan well in advance and maintain a checklist as you near the wedding date. Hiring a wedding planner also sorts the problems. You should have faith in your people/family and let the worries go…things will be taken care of.
Will I look stunning in our wedding photos?
Women are always self-conscious about their presence in front of camera. In a way it is good to be presentable but then, as a bride, expectations are bound to soar high. So the trick to get awesome wedding photos is to be simple. Yes, be the way you are…you are at your happiest state, every single picture will be a reflection of that. Your experienced wedding photographer will capture that and that is all that matters!
So ladies keep all these thoughts at bay and make sure you enjoy and revel in every moment of the wedding day. It is the most important and happiest day of your life, let it be that way. No stress allowed! Believe us: You are lucky to to know all this beforehand!
