We love the colours used by Rocky: maroons and browns, we feel, are perfect for the mother of the bride who wants to look attractive yet knows that it is her child’s time to shine.

Rocky is not the only designer for whom Hema has announced her unending support. We hear the evergreen beauty is especially fond of Neeta Lulla, so much so, that she chose her to design the outfits for both her daughters’ weddings. Esha is believed to have worn a beautiful red Kanchiveram saree designed by this very talented designer.

It is not just the likes of Kareena Kapoor who choose to wear Manish on her D-Day. Even Sridevi is seemingly a big fan of his creations. Mind you, Sridevi is still too young to be called the mother of the bride and we are sorry if we offend any of her fans here. However it is our endeavour to bring you the best and we especially loved this purple-maroon georgette saree with velvet blouse and simple jewellery. Perfect for one’s son/ daughter’s wedding reception, don’t you think?

Ashima Leena are known for the use of gorgeous gorgeous colours (they love the use of pinks, peaches and other pastels in their creations). Sabyasachi
How can we discuss top bridal attire and not include Sabyasaachi? Known for mainly using beiges, whites and other lighter shades with contrasting cholis, eclectic borders and unique embellishments, Sabyasaachi has dressed the likes of Aishwarya Rai (as well as her mother in law, Jaya Bacchan) on many International Red Carpets. We love his use of long sleeves and 3/4th length sleeves in cholis with boat necks and other signature styles that have become the very essence of Sabyasacchi’s designs. Among the younger actresses who have worn Sabyasaachi on the red carpet, we have Vidya Balan, Deepika Padukone and even Rani Mukherji who recently tied the knot.
