This must be, so far, Rani’s best bridal look from movies. This unusual colour of bridal wear could not have gone better on any other Bollywood actress than Rani Mukherji. Portraying the role of a simple Indian girl whose life went through social and emotional turmoils after being widowed, here, Rani looks like a pensive bride, lost in her thoughts. There is something unique about this bridal look. The saree has heavily embroidered brodered. The heavy kundan jewelleries are also exquisitely designed with a very distinct Rajasthani touch in them. The kohl-ed smoky eyes reflect the thoughtfulness of the bride who is going through a lot of change.
2. Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna
This classic bridal look from the Karan Johar blockbuster Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna won accolades from fans for its traditional essence. Though the film was India’s entry to the Oscars, the Indian audience seemed to have not liked it much. Anyway, the Rajasthani look of Rani became quite a hit.
