Mahabaleshwar is a place you can visit all year round. The hills, mountains, valleys and greenery will fill your heart with passion and desire. It is also known as the land of strawberries. There are five major points of interest you must visit while in Mahabaleshwar.

Arthur’s Seat: Arthur’s seat point is so named after Sir Arthur Mallet. It was his favourite spot to sit and enjoy the view of the Savitri River. It reminded him of his wife and children. He had lost them in a tragic ferry mishap in the Savitri River.

Kate’s Point: It is known for the spectacular view of two reservoirs, Balakwadi and Dhom. It the breathtaking view from this point that will be in your memory forever.

Needle Hole Point / Elephant Point: Needle hole point is very close to the Kate’s Point. There is a natural rock formation with a hole in between which looks exactly like a needle-hole. This is how the point has derived its name.

Panchgani is only a few kilometres along the way. You must visit the table top mountains. They are so called as unlike the pointed peaks of mountains these mountain tops are flat. Other than the table top, you can see the Sydney Point, Parsi Point and Devil’s Kitchen. Although not a tourist spot, we recommend a quick visit to the Mapro Garden for a delicious meal. You can try their grilled sandwiches and ice creams. There is a variety of sweets and syrups that you can pick up here.
