Get Wedding Ready With Pantone Fall Shades

By  |

We understand why looking trendy and hot is so important to you on your wedding day and that was one reason that motivated us to share Pantone’s Spring Palette with you so that you could pick out your favourite shades for a spring wedding. Now, with autumn just round the corner, Pantone has released a whole new palette of Fall shades to help young brides look trendy and pretty. If the Spring palette was all about bursts of colour, their Fall palette is about weaving in neutrals and colours without ever looking unnatural. Here we go:

amethyst orchid

Amethyst Orchid: 2015 undoubtedly belongs to the queen of trendy colours (think Marsala) but it’s safe to say that this pretty and sober shade of purple is the hot favourite from the Pantone Fall colour palette. One reason why this shade is already being raved about in fashion circles is because of the manner in which it can be dressed up or dressed down. Purple has always been a favourite with Indian brides and that can be partly attributed to the fact that it is considered a royal colour, which is why we’re quite certain that this sensual and unique shade will soon be spotted at pre-wedding ceremonies and at other functions. In fact, bridegrooms can wear this shade in their turbans with gold lace or piping for a true royal effect.

Cashmere Rose: Isn’t the name itself so pretty? Yes, we featured Strawberry Ice as one of the must wear shades for evening do’s as part of the Pantone Spring shade articles, but the next three months belong entirely to a more subdued version of pink- Cashmere Rose. If you aren’t a big fan of pink, don’t worry because you could pair this shade with cream or grey for a morning function and with black for the reception- both combinations will give your attire a feminine touch and make you stand apart. This shade works surprisingly well for wedding decor too and since it doesn’t pop like Strawberry Ice, it will suit all skin tones beautifully.

Reflecting Pond: Blue is a very popular unisex shade that works well for both men and women. The highlight of this shade is its deep cool tones which signify calm and composure. In fact, this Pantone Fall shade will work well with other bright tones and add balance to the overall attire. We can almost see many Indian bridegrooms making a dash for outfits in this colour because the colour radiates masculinity. A sherwani in this shade when paired with a Cashmere Rose turban will look fantastic. The more adventurous can pair this blue shade with vivacious red or metallic shades like copper, gold and silver for added effect.
