  • If you are prone to acne, use the following homemade face mask: Gram flour, rose water, honey and a little turmeric. This is a soothing home remedy that absorbs excess oil and turmeric kills acne causing bacteria. You can also use Multani Mati or facial clay to keep skin oil free. Apply the mask for 20 minutes, and then wash off with warm water.
  • Again, the same winter skin care tips for dry skin are also applicable for brides-to-be with oily skin. Avoid hot water baths and use a humidifier when running a room heater. Follow a good diet with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. Take a vitamin supplement in case of deficiencies. Eat plenty of fish, walnuts and other healthy fats and oils.
