How we met

We were told about each other by our families, but we both were not keen on getting married at that time. So, we started talking on Instagram, trying to know each other better and took our own sweet time (approx 2 years!). Since we had a few holidays together we met each other’s friends and got to know each other a bit better, before making the decision to get married. And the rest is history! ️ It has a been roller coaster ride so far .. the best part about our marriage is that we never thought of each other as husband and wife ( those formalities .. that extra bit we do for our spouses ) we always treated each other like best friends which we still are and will always be :)! We both think that that is the key to a successful long-term relationship. Saurav and I share many common interests like traveling, food, etc and he always takes an interest in my work.

Wedding venue

Our destination wedding was a perfect blend/fusion of beachside refreshing vibes with all the Punjabis giving the venue those Vibrant feels which Punjabis are born with ;), the venue i.e. Fairmont, Ajman was a beautiful beach facing property with all the apt designed venues for all the traditions and functions being held and enjoyed to the fullest. Saurav and I always dreamt of having a wedding at the beach.. and I think Ajman was the place meant for us! we had a mehndi ceremony, a pool party, Haldi, pheras, cocktail, reception, etc in 3 days of a grand gala wedding in Fairmont Ajman UAE. Much love and thanks to our lovely parents ️ for making this dream come true for us!!

I chose them because they are the best. I didn’t want to take any risk as I wanted to look flawless on my wedding functions, therefore I booked the most famous makeup artists for my Delhi and Dubai functions. I was more than satisfied with my all looks.

Advice to other brides to be

Start your wedding planning as early as possible so that you have sufficient time to make all the arrangements without any stress. Also, be selective with your guest list. I believe that a wedding should be celebrated with close friends and family as you tend to enjoy more.

Honeymoon

We went to London, Amsterdam, and Spain( Marbella, Ibiza, and Barcelona)
London is the perfect destination for a honeymoon. We went in August and the weather was amazing. Staying near Oxford street is highly recommended. One must visit Convent Garden and have hot chocolate and macaroons from Laduree. Mayfair is the perfect place to have a candlelight dinner. Bicester Village is a must-visit for shopping.
In Ibiza, do attend a pool party at the Ocean Beach club, foam party at Amnesia, David Guetta at Pacha Ibiza.
I recommend honeymooners to stay at the W hotel in Barcelona. It is a beautiful property.
Last I would recommend visiting Puerto Banus in Marbella which is a luxury marina with street style shopping.
