Why we chose the venue
We wanted a water-park so guests could beat the summer heat. Manali Resort offered a convenient location.
Theme
We chose minimalist decoration with simple seasonal flowers and colorful, vibrant drapes. The result was fantastic!
Bridal dresses and accessories
Says Prerana: “I opted to go local with my outfits when it came to dressing for mehendi, sangeet and the pheras. I purchased most of the lehengas from Chandni Chowk, Delhi at a very reasonable price. Unlike many brides, I wanted to wear something peppy and bright for my reception and hence I chose to wear a pink hand embroidered Chamee & Palak lehenga. Accessories, I rented from a local vendor in Pune at a very reasonable price”.
Photographer
We opted for Ankur Dandekar, a Mumbai based photographer who has quite a reputation. He was great with his work and captured great candid shots.
