Do you target any particular niche?
Destination Weddings are growing rapidly in India and the country is witnessing a growth in the number of NRI’s looking to us for their family celebrations. In addition, International wedding planners and couples are constantly looking for unique and hitherto unknown destinations to plan their weddings. We have a lot of interest from the domestic markets, as well as the UK, Europe, parts of the Far East and Australia.
Do you have both indoor and outdoor wedding ceremony facilities?
Yes we do. As stated above, we have 11 halls including the largest pillar-less banquet hall, on ECR that ideal for Indian weddings – be it for the sangeet, Mehendi, private reception or engagements, pre wedding parties or other ceremonies that different communities may have.
How do you help couples customize their weddings?
We have a dedicated weddings team on board; they are experts in offering a range of services or recommending preferred vendors, as per the client’s requirements/preferences. From offering suggestions for the theme and decor to the food, set ups and entertainment, our team is trained to listen to client requirements and take them through the journey to their D day. With particular attention to the finer details , we ensure making each wedding a huge success.
Do you allow bridal families to bring in their own suppliers?
Yes we do – these are first questions we ask the clients in order to understand their exact requirements. Accordingly we work together and endeavour to meet their expectations.
What is the smallest and largest wedding you can have at Radisson Blu Resort Temple Bay?
The smallest weddings would be about 20 and if it is a purely outdoor wedding, then we can host up to 3000 people, on the open lawns facing the sea.
Any tips for bridal families hunting for a wedding venue?
You get married once, so make it a wise choice. Decide on the exact number of people and the destination. Make sure the destination is conducive to conducting Indian weddings, as our weddings are quite different to western and other Asian weddings. Choose a place with a spa if possible so you can take a break from the stress and pressure and get some ‘alone’ time. This will greatly help in ensuring that you look and feel your best on the big day.
