The recent and hyped wedding was that of Bigg Boss 6 winner- (she is also famous for the role of ‘Prerna’ from the serial ‘Kasauti Zindagi Kay’)- Shweta Tiwari. She married her long time boyfriend Keshav . Shweta wore a traditional red and green lehenga heavily embellished with jari and sequins. It also had some aari and zardosi work as well. She wore a Maang tika, Zumka, a long and a short neck piece. Chuda in the hands completed her look. Her gajra is quite prominent and she chose several strands put together.

The wedding of Jay Soni was a very lavish affair. He married his jewellery designer wife in a red and white sherwani to color coordinate the outfit with that of the bride. Colour coordinationg your outfit is a great idea. It shows you as a couple is in great harmony. It also gives a distinct touch to the wedding pictures. The nose ring worn by Jai Soni’s bride lends a very authentic touch to her look.

Ram Kapoor wedding

Ram Kapoor and Gautami Gadgil got married in a Punjabi style wedding. Gautami wore a golden lehenga. An elaborate mang tika gave it the marriage feel. She also wore a full chuda and a simple bindi completed her wardrobe for the day.

If looking for inspiration for your reception, you can take tips from Sargun Mehta. She wore a pink anarkali with intricate work. The bodice of the dress was had ruches of various hues of pink. The bottom half of the dress had a detailed pattern of circles and a gold border. The sleeves were sheer and ¾ in length.  She was wearing a chuda and her jewelry consisted of a simple diamond set with matching dangling earrings. To avoid hassle and flaunt it, she also completely ditched the dupatta. (It worked quite well in her favour).
