Within a few years of launching her label, “Lakshmi Jagmohan”, she carved a niche for herself and was part of the designer fraternity, showcasing her creations at India’s most prestigious fashion shows and events. She has received several accolades for shows that she has put up in India and abroad that include the Brother Cup, Bangalore Fashion Week, Chennai International Fashion Week, among others.
Lakshmi brings the right blend of creative sensitivities to harmonise form and function, drawing inspiration from nature and embellishing her creations with Zardozi embroidery, crystals, semi-precious stones, sequins and Aari work. She incorporates elegant cuts, traditional, contemporary styles that have become the hallmark of her colourful Indian, Western and Indo-western ensembles.
