Uttara Shah is one of India’s leading wedding invitation designer. She started designing wedding invitations in the late nineties after completing her Bachelor's in commercial arts from Sophia Polytechnic in Mumbai. Post which she received her masters in graphic design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, USA.
Uttara has an exclusive wedding invitation studio at Lower Parel, Mumbai, showcasing her work and wedding invitation styles. Uttara’s invitations are a blend of modern contemporary graphical elements interleaved with traditional Indian motifs and patterns. Her wedding invitations are unique in that no 2 invitations are the same and the same design is never repeated once it has been produced. Uttara adopts a very personal approach when working with a client and each invitation is designed to bring out the style, messaging and emotions of that particular client. She meets clients only by appointment and takes on a limited number of projects at any given time to ensure that each creation gets its due
