Beautiful Indian Brides: Exclusive Wedding Photography by Saulat Zuberi

By  |

A great wedding photograph is a complete expression of what the photographer feels about his subjects- in the deepest sense. Thus, a great wedding photograph is a ‘true expression’ that can stop the moments from running away. Over the past year, Weddingsonline has featured the works of several Indian wedding photographers. We thought we would start the New Year by featuring the bridal photography collection by Saulat Zuberi, ace Fine art wedding photographer. Over the past few years, Saulat has captured various brides on their D-day. Here is little bit about Saulat:

Saulat Zuberi obtained his degree in Computer Science engineering in the year 1999. For 10 years thereafter, he travelled extensively in Europe and America for work. During this time he developed great enthusiasm and passion for photography. He built upon his skills and expertise in the field by reading extensively on the topic and, in his free time, would experiment with the camera. His thirst for knowledge had him spending hours on photography forums.

He returned to India for good in 2009 and has, since then, taken up photography as his profession. Today, he travels extensively all across India to cover weddings and also specializes in pre-wedding shoots as well as adult and kid portraiture. Do visit Saulat’s website to see some really amazing shots-some of these were completely unplanned and ‘un-posed’ for. He has even ‘shot’ his subjects underwater-something that is extremely difficult-both for the photographer and his subjects.

Without further delay: here is Saulat’s album which he dedicates to all Indian brides:

“When you photograph people in colour you photograph their clothes.  But when you photograph people in B&W, you photograph their souls!”  Ted Grant

Saulat’s advice to brides and grooms regarding their choice of the wedding photographer:

Choosing a wedding photographer should be one of the most important parts of planning your weddingFood, décor and clothing all are forgotten within a very short time. Photos are the ones that are cherished for a lifetime. The cost of wedding photography varies a lot today; but a general rule of thumb is that the photography should be roughly 10%-15% of the total cost of wedding. Furthermore, depending on the importance that you place on your wedding pictures, this budget can be adjusted. A great bargain price might make you happy in the beginning, but great pictures will make you happier and you and your family will enjoy them long after the wedding is over. At the end of the day, as the saying goes, ‘you get what you pay for’”.
