The annual Dubai Wedding Summit took place at the Address Sky View, Dubai, on the 9th of October this year. The DWS as the Dubai Wedding Summit is fondly known as, is a must-attend event for photographers, wedding planners, makeup artists and other wedding professionals looking to make more sales. Industry experts and experienced speakers from Dubai and abroad taught attendees in the day-long event, different ways to win and manage their businesses more effectively.
The event opened with registration followed by an introduction by Nikki Rutherford, head of weddingsonline UAE. This was followed by a brief address from a representative of Address Sky View. Rahul Kumar of Vivaah Weddings presented the first-ever Indian wedding to take place at Disneyland Paris.
Maya Itani conducted a pre-lunch session on building a brand followed by a delicious lunch with stylings from Jin Flora. Kelly Lundberg later addressed the crowds on ways to use social media marketing more effectively. Johnathan Bryans of weddingsonline Ireland talked about the typical bridal customer journey. The closing and prize distribution was preceded by a Q & A session on weddings versus corporate events and ways to get both. The evening ended with drinks at the viewing deck at Palace Downtown with a splendid musical performance by the Supernovas.
