Real Weddings: Saira & Edward’s African-Asian Fusion Wedding At Kilronan Castle Ireland

By  |

We love all weddings; but this one is special to us due to our Ireland connection. Saira and Edward tied the knot at the romantic Kilronan Castle in Roscommon, Ireland. York based international wedding photographer Bhavna Pandya Baratt of Upendo Images documented this special day.

Bhavna describes herself as an ‘hippy happy, chai drinking, international wedding photographer who loves Asian weddings“! Incidentally, Upendo also means ‘Love’, so that is indeed an apt name for a wedding photographer!

Bhavna’s unobtrusive and candid style of wedding photography is visible through this wedding captured at the romantic and incredibly beautiful Kilronan Castle in Ireland. Here are the details in Bhavana’s words:

“Saira & Ed had an intimate registry at Weybridge Registry Office, London. Saira looked lush in her maroon trailed dress custom made for her by Raishma Brides.

The hair and make up was by a beautician provided by Kilronan Castle.

Saira and Edward were real troopers, I had tons of fun shooting their wedding and reception, with  the beautiful Kilronan Castle as the back drop. For the reception we went to a nearby park that Saira has fond memories of as a child, and trailed through the rain …

I love Saira’s dusty pink dress custom made for her by Raishma Brides.

I hope you enjoy the images as much as I enjoyed capturing them”.
