Former Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s son – Parliamentarian and future presidential candidate- Namal Rajapaksa recently tied the knot with Limini Weerasinghe in a charming ceremony at the Gangarama Temple. The intimate affair was only for close friends and family members but was soon followed by a grand reception at the Mt Lavinia Hotel for extended family, friends, and dignitaries from supporting nations.
Limini comes from a humble business family from the Gampaha district while Namal is a parliamentary member from the Hambantota district. They wanted to ensure that the local community they represent was also invited and served equally as the other guests. That was the highlight of the event.
