Indian wedding food: how much is too much?

The golden rule of catering for wedding food: less is more. If you have 100 guests, always pay for only 85 guests. This is a thumb rule that is applicable to all parties since most health conscious wedding guests tend to eat less these days. Also, given the variety there is in most Indian wedding menus; the starters and soups would likely fill up your guests. So, order only 85% of the main course dishes.
