Having your wedding at Atlantis, The Palm must be a dream come true for many brides – do you have event spaces to suit every couple?
Whether a couple is looking for a small wedding or large scale celebration, Atlantis, The Palm has a variety of options including traditional and unique spaces; from ballrooms to underwater venues. There are three ballrooms and one Majlis that host a range of events from conferences to weddings. A permanent team of 36 colleagues, the Atlantis MICE and event team operate 24 hours a day and have carried out approximately 5,600 events since the launch of Atlantis in 2008.
Which venues are the most popular for weddings at the moment and which ones are hidden gems?
It’s no secret that planning a wedding can be difficult, and to help find the most popular venues at Atlantis, The Palm, we asked the organisers at the hotel. Event planners can host special outdoor evenings at the resort’s Zero Entry Pool, an expansive outdoor space that accommodates up to 2,000 guests with a stunning view of the resort. This equates to 4,326 sqm of event space (excluding the outdoor areas), with the Asateer tent adding an additional 2,100 sqm of event space. The Atlantis Ballroom can accommodate gala dinners and events for up to 1,500 guests, and gives a direct access to the impressive Royal Terrace.
The most unusual location for events is The Lost Chambers Aquarium, which offers breathtaking underwater views, and is home to 65,000 mesmerising marine animals. This stunning setting is ideal for medium to larger tailor-made events starting from 100 guests. The most luxurious event venue is The Royal Bridge Suite which offers 180-degree views of The Palm Island and the Arabian Sea.
How do you help a couple create a perfect wedding?

The Atlantis wedding packages offer a 1-night stay in a deluxe room inclusive of breakfast, with access to luxurious honeymoon amenities, free entry to Aquaventure Waterpark & The Lost Chambers Aquarium for the couple; photo opportunities in stunning backdrops throughout the resort prior to the wedding; complimentary Mercedes or Audi limousine drop off for the bride & groom only to the airport; and romantic dinner for the bride and the groom for their first anniversary.
Atlantis is mainly so special because of the ability for couples to combine exciting and unique activities and venues with the traditions of a wedding ceremony. From a pre wedding dinner under the stars on The Royal Beach to underwater yoga for the bridal party on the morning of the wedding, there are hundreds of on-site options to ensure every moment of the event is memorable. Depending on the packages the bride and groom decide on, we provide an array of services that include, bridal bouquets and floral centrepieces from an in-house wedding florist, photo shoots at iconic locations and stunning backdrops around the resort, in addition to a one-night complimentary stay at the resort with luxurious honeymoon amenities for the wedding couple.
Guests who are considering Atlantis as their wedding destination will also be invited to a private appointment in the Atlantis Wedding Lounge. In the comfort of the lounge, over light snacks and a selection of beverages, the couple can discuss their requirements not just for their wedding but for everything that goes with it.
What is your chef’s specialty for wedding catering?
Each package will have its own menu. The Summer wedding package will include a bespoke buffet or family-style menu, wedding cake customization and selection upon consultation with the Chef Pâtissier. The wedding reception package will include signature mocktails, selected non-alcoholic drinks, and beverages on offer; bespoke buffet menus and a special ceremonial five layers dummy wedding cake.
Atlantis, The Palm can cater to a number of culinary requirements as it boasts of 23 restaurants featuring kitchens from world-renowned celebrity chefs such as Giorgio Locatelli, Gordon Ramsay, and Nobu Matsuhisa. Atlantis is ‘the’ culinary destination in Dubai. Our 455 chefs are ready to prepare any kind of food for any event. From vegan to Indian, Jamaican to Gluten-free, anything is possible at Atlantis.
