Gaurav Kapoor Wedding – A Sneak Peek

The cute and charming VJ of Channel V who has also become a household name in India after anchoring for FIFA World Cup 2014, has just tied the knot with his longtime sweetheart, Kirat Bhattal on this November 2, 2014. The VJ turned actor who stepped into Bollywood with the horror flick Sssshhh… soon became a part of our life after his FIFA anchoring. And, now, the charming boy has finally taken marriage vows with the beautiful Kirat Bhattal who has been his girlfriend for quite a long time. Let us find out what happened in this Gaurav Kapoor wedding that took place in Chandigarh.

Beside being a popular VJ, Gaurav proved his acting mettle with his performance in films like Darna Mana Hai, Ugly Aur Pagli, A Wednesday etc. But we all know Gaurav for his comic timing and, as usual, this Delhi boy did not let us down when it came to talking about his wedding plans. He, in his typical quirky element was quoted saying, “I suddenly realised I’ve reached a marriageable age and since we’d been seeing each other for some time it made sense to settle down.” He also could not help but expressing his love for Kirat saying, “Also, she is quite lovely.” No doubt, Gaurav!

It was just a month ago, precisely, three weeks ago of his wedding, when this popular FIFA anchor disclosed his wedding plans to media saying his wedding functions would take place in Delhi, Mumbai and Chandigarh, making it a national event.

The Chadigarh wedding saw a dashing and elegant Gaurav Kapoor in a cream sherwani with classy golden work on it along with a matching cream coloured turban. Kirat looked every bit beautiful in her pink and gold coloured lehenga.

The Chandigarh wedding was attended by some of the close friends of both Gauran and Kirat who joined the bride and groom on their special day to make it all more special. From Yuvraj Singh to Neha Dhupia, from Sandhya Mridul to VJ Maria Goretti were among the guests. Roshan Abbas, Angad Bedi and Mini Mathur also came to wish the newly-wed couple all the happiness.
