Another couple made sure that their wedding went down in history by becoming the first couple to have a jetpack wedding. Amanda Volf flew across the water, landing on her wedding ceremony while her husband also made his way on a jetpack as well. The gadgets cost a massive $90,000 – which is more than double the cost of most people’s weddings. This ended up being billed as the first jetpack wedding of all time. You may also not be shocked to learn that the pair did not wear traditional wedding attire. Grant Engler, the husband-to-be, donned a wetsuit, while the bride wore a rash guard shirt and whiteboard shorts. However, in order to make things a little bit more traditional, Engler wore a white bow tie and Volf wore a veil.

Costco

To the uninitiated, Costco is a huge departmental store chain that sells wholesale grocery and other stuff. We’re not sure that Costco is the most glamorous place in the world to get married, but it was a dream destination for one couple from California. Meredith and Robert Bonilla wanted their wedding to reflect their first meeting – which was at their local Costco, in the frozen foods section. Once the store closed, friends and family members came to the store to celebrate the nuptials.

Christ of the Deep

One couple decided that getting married on land simply would not cut it for their big day, and so they got married underwater at the iconic Christ of the Deep statue. Located off the Florida Keys, Jorge Rodrigues and Kimberly Triolet tied the knot right next to the famous statue, which is situated around five miles off the coast and in 25 feet of water.
