Pantone has announced the colour of the year 2014. It is (drumroll please…..) Radiant Orchid. We thought our brides and grooms-to-be would love to see how they can incorporate this beautiful, warm colour in their wedding palette. Last year’s colour of the year was emerald green; it symbolized growth and prosperity. Radiant orchid, on the other hand, is an invitation to imagination, creativity and originality, all of which are very valued in society today.

Pantone is the global expert on colours. While many might argue that there is not much difference between purple and orchid, the company insists that the latter is more ‘magical, enigmatic and captivating“.
