Destinations for Honeymoon – Hawaii

The Hawaiian Islands offer a wide range of destinations to choose from. A cluster of six islands, the Aloha state has it all and every island has a unique flavour. Wherever you travel natural beauty, aqua marine beaches, sea cliffs, vibrant shores, misty mountains are sure to greet you on your way to paradise.

Oahu

Your travel should ideally begin at Honolulu International Airport at Oahu. Also known as the ‘Gathering Place, Oahu serves as the entry point for most of the visitors on Hawaii. It is strongly recommended if big city, fine accommodation and dinning, beaches, food and museum and art galleries is where you belong. Honolulu is a big city and a crowd puller.

Hawaii’s Big Island

If hiking , wildlife and culture is something you are looking for on your honeymoon then Hawaii’s Big Island will live up to its name. The island of Hawaii is often called the The Big Island so that people do not confuse it with the name of the entire state.This place is an amalgamation of barren grasslands to lush green jungles to lava fields all in one.

Maui

Maui also know as Village Isle has ideally been a preferred destination for honeymooners. Its a mix of western and oriental cultures. The large selection of condols available here is a great tourist attraction. One can also plan a trip to Haleakala, one of Hawaii’s National Parks. The Hana Highway ride is a major attraction.  Windsurfers will have a fiekd day here.

Kauai

Kauai, The Garden Isle, is a nature lover’s paradise. A host of ecological based activites are carried out here compounded by beautiful flora and fauna. However a trip by car is not possible here. So if you trust your shoes, grab a hiking pole and head out on its lush green trails. Beautiful beaches and the Waimea Canyon are a major tourist attraction. Do carry a raincoat here because the rain god has blessed this place.

Lanai

Spending time with your spouse on a quant beach with lot of solitude may land you at Lanai. This place is famous for its remoteness., with less people around. The Hulupoe beach is an ideal spot for snorkelling. Exploring its unvisited corners is an added charm.

Getting to Hawai gives you the easy option of flying to Honolulu International Airport at Ohau and then beginning with your onward journey to your place of desire.
