Shibani has been in this field for nearly 18 years. What started as a hobby for friends soon turned into a profession. She has also been doing makeup and styling for top Fashion weeks and beauty pageants. She mainly works out of Chennai but has also covered weddings in Sri Lanka. Shibani stresses upon the importance of customizing the look for every bride and does the entire (top to toe) makeup using airbrush.
- Do you offer a trial makeup session?
Every bride has to know how she will look on her wedding day, bridal trial is a must
- Will you be present on my D-day for touch-ups?
Usually an air brush base does not need touch up; it remains for a minimum of 15hours as it is
- What are your thoughts on airbrush makeup?
I have been working with airbrush base for the last 5 years, base with airbrush is flawless.
- What products/cosmetics do you use?
We use Kryolan and Innovi airbrush base and colour pigments, the other favourites are makeup studio, cinema secrets and MAC.
- I have acne marks, tattoos, and pigmentation/rosacea. How do you cover these?
Usually a good skin care routine is advised a month prior to the wedding date with Dermalogica skin care.
- I need false lashes. Do you offer these?
False lashes add to the beauty of eye makeup and are very important for a bride.
- What are the trends /colours for Indian summer weddings?
Soft peaches and Bronzes are in these days, and of course red is always a popular bridal colour.
- What are your bridal package rates?
We charge Rs 25000/ session
- How can a bride book you? How far in advance should she do the booking?
A minimum time of a month is required, most brides book 3 months prior.
