If you are looking to get away from the noise, human traffic, and vendors trying to sell overpriced items, Maldives is the place for you. It boasts of 5 beaches per inhabitant. This guarantees the much needed privacy. It’s almost as if the island belongs to you. It’s very different from the usually crowded beaches. Most resorts have their own islands and also mostly provide pick up services from airport. The best time to visit Maldives is between December to March. A 4-6 day tour is typically priced between Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 per person. Indian nationals are issued a free 30 visa as long as you have a valid passport and a return ticket or an onward journey ticket. You just fill out the visa form in the flight. The customs may want to ensure you have enough money to cover your expenses and your hotel reservations. It is always a good idea to carry some photocopies of your passport, tickets and hotel reservations. You can also go on a tour booked by an agent.
