Punjabi weddings are grand occasions; they are big on dancing, music and food. Kunal and Kanchan’s very enjoyable wedding had all these elements and more. The bride wore a beautiful green-red-beige lehenga while the groom looked handsome in a maroon kurta and a matching royal turban. Nishant Aneja was present to photograph the events.
The Couple: Kanchan and Kunal
Kanachan is a Himachali girl working in a national bank in Chandigarh. Kunal is a Chartered Accountant from Punjab. Where Kanchan is bubbly, chirpy and spontaneous, Kunal is calm and quiet.
How they met: They met through work and discovered they had a lot in comon: their zodiac sign-Cancer, as well as their love for food and shopping. Meetings at the workplace soon transformed into fun filled outings and after a courtship of three months they decided to spend the rest of their lives together.
Engagement: They got engaged on 22 December 2012

From Photographer Nishant Aneja: If you ask me my experience shooting this wedding: it was really an awesome time. For me photography is passion rather than just a profession. I mostly do weddings as I love capturing such moments into memories forever :). We also had a lovely pre-wedding photoshoot. The couple was very adventurous and willing to try out different ideas for that.
