There are many things we love about Mehak and Shravan’s wedding. First of all, we love the gorgeous designer dresses that Mehak chose for her different ceremonies. Next, we loved the splashes of colours and the way in which photographers Anup and Atul (of Anup J Kat Photography) have brilliantly captured all the details. Furthermore, we loved how the couple actually managed to make the day about themselves, while ensuring that their guests had a great time with lip-smacking food. Wedding date and venue: Friday, 13th April 2012, The Gold Palace Hotel, Jaipur .
How we met: It was an arranged match and parents got us together. We dated for a month and met in many different cities each time! After our 4th date in Bangalore, we decided to go ahead and tie the knot! I wouldn’t call it a conventionally romantic period, but one that definitely included some amazing conversations with food and laughter.
My Dresses: I bought my sangeet outfit from Sabyasachi, wedding lehnga from Varun Bahl and the reception gown from Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor in Delhi.
Makeup and hair artists: Akanksha Gupta (Delhi).
Wedding caterers: Our wedding caterers were from Delhi : Nandas

Wedding Photographers: Anup and Atul of Anup J Kat Photography. They were brilliant and the pictures are priceless! They are candid , vibrant and so much fun. The boys captured some rare moments and the end result has been a wall full of 50 odd frames of the wedding pics!
The best part of the day: The food 🙂 it was lip-smackingly good and everyone present stated it was the best wedding food they had ever had .
Advice for other brides to be: Be organized . Make a check list and work accordingly . Most importantly, don’t try to micro manage, let the family take charge of things. Do enjoy the attention , pampering and the love. Be a happy bride; smile a lot and show your confidence .. Believe me: It will be seen in the pictures! 🙂
