Lakme Fashion Week 2016 winter/festive was all about baby bumps. Our favourite diva Kareena Kapoor looked gorgeous as she walked the ramp flaunting her baby bump and she wasn’t the only one to do so. We also saw pregnant model (and former Bigg Boss contestant) Carol Garcias glowing on the ramp while walking for Gaurang Shah’s collection. Like every year, several celebrities walked the ramp for top designers including Tarun Tahiliani, Manish Malhotra, Sabyasachi and we got to see Kangana Ranaut, Jacqueline Fernandez, Radhika Apte, Shamita Shetty, and Bipasha Basu on different days of the show. Kareena dazzled in a metallic silver grey lehenga with a lace grey veil and silver maang teeka.
Dark hues like midnight blue, dark velvety green and black seemed to be extremely popular colours at this year’s event.
Jacqueline Fernandez looked retro chic as she walked the ramp for Ashish Soni’s Volomatic collection. Riteish Deshmukh was hardly recognizable as he and Malaika Arora turned show stoppers for designer duo Shantanu Nikhil.
Tarun Tahiliani also used black in his collection.
He chose Art, Bollywood and sculpture as his inspiration for his pieces.
